Postcards from Pleasant View

Inspiring an Active Lifestyle
Pleasant View Retirement brings out the best in its residents. A fully-maintained, beautiful New England landscape offers inspiration for being active, whether walking along one of the many trails Pleasant View maintains, or creating a work of art such as Ruth Stewart's Tulip Tree in Bloom, at left, which was inspired by a magnolia tree growing along one of the Pleasant View buildings, and has been reproduced as a greeting card.

In a resident-sponsored event, Pleasant View Retirement hosted the First Annual Doll Show and Sale. Over 150 people attended this event including vendors from all over New England. A September 11 Tribute, Raggedy Ann Café, and a raffle were some of the highlights of this day. The event was so successful that the vendors are returning again next year.
