Mary Ladd
Activities Director
Mary Ladd is the Activities Director at Pleasant View Retirement. She honestly feels that she has the best job in this community! Just ask her about each and every day filled with a sense of fulfillment, and a lot of fun. Her typical “work” day can encompass exercise classes, Bingo games, shuffleboard, devotional coffee chats, fantastic in-house entertainment, lunch trips all over the state, evenings out at plays and concerts, and best of all the companionship of the most welcoming, friendly group of people – the residents of Pleasant View Retirement. Just driving onto this breathtakingly beautiful property each day is a privilege she enjoys!

Staying busy and active has long been a part of Mary’s life, as she has raised 8 children, traveled quite a bit with them, and has managed a very busy household for many years. She also stays active in the local elementary school, and is a Disaster Coordinator for the American Red Cross. She learned early on that whatever you give, you receive back tenfold, and through her job and family, she feels this to be a proven fact.
